JWFNS Boot Camp Frequently asked question

How do I register for classes?

  1. First, you must pre-register & set up an account with our booking engine. If you purchased a Groupon Deal, pre-register HERE. If you did not purchase an online deal, you may still purchase Boot Camp sessions individually HERE.
  2. After you pre-register, you will receive an email with instructions for setting up your username/password. Be sure to use the link in that email, as it is directly linked to the package you purchased.
  3. Login to your account. Enter the username/password you created during pre-registration (step 2).
  4. On account home page click Find New Session
    All classes that are available will be listed under Outdoor Boot camp [or View All]
    * "Call for info" means that the class is full

All classes will be available ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE and registration will open at the time the scheduled class ends. (ex. Mon. & Thurs. Boot Camp is from 6-7 pm so registration will begin at 7pm. If you want to attend 5/14 Boot Camp you will need to register on 5/7 starting at 7pm.)

Important: You will need to sign up for each of the 12 boot camp sessions individually and they can be used in any order that you want. All 12 sessions are to be used at your own discretion and the schedule can be found here.

What if I do not feel advanced enough to be active in camp?
The camp is geared for all fitness levels from beginners to advanced. We will have numerous trainers there to work with all fitness levels. We will also have a recovery area for rest time. We will provide gatorade and water to anyone in need! You can work as hard or as easy as you want...i'ts your camp! We will push to your limits!

How do I pay for camp?
Payments must be made in full prior to camp by options listed. There will be no refunds for missed sessions or absent days.

Where do we meet?
Wednesday & Friday, we will meet at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, 17th Street next to the Dairy Queen. On Monday & Thursday night and Saturday morning, we will meet at Mt. Trashmore, at the bottom of the hill near a half wall outside the new playground.

How often will we meet?
Our schedule changes seasonally, so please check the schedule listed in the right sidebar for current dates.

What do I need to bring?
5 pound dumbbells and an exercise mat (yoga-type mat recommended).

Where do I park for the oceanfront classes?
Park in the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church lot on the corner of 19th St. and Pacific Ave.

What can I achieve from camp?
You will see a reduction in body fat, increase in muscle tone and weight loss. You will experience more energy, better confidence, and improve your overall well being. You will have access to the best trainers at the beach to help you with your every fitness need! Plus our dietitians will provide you with sound nutrition advice.

Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $50 to $75 per hour for their services - this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost.

Why should I participate?
Why not? The only thing you have to lose is weight! Plus we will have a blast — think of it as a great new jumpstart to your fitness program and life!

Will we make up a session if the weather is foul?
We will meet rain or shine. No refunds or makeup sessions will be made for any reason. NO EXCEPTIONS. Regardless of weather, be prepared to get sandy, wed and muddy. This is boot camp, after all!

What if I have to miss a session?
Sessions can not be made up or refunded.
